Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Cutverse app and the website cutverse.app ("Cutverse", "we", "us"). By installing or using Cutverse you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Using Cutverse

Cutverse is provided free of charge for personal and commercial video editing. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from (the Apple App Store or Google Play). If you downloaded Cutverse from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

2. Your content

You own the photos, videos, audio and other material you edit and the videos you export. Cutverse does not claim any rights to your content and does not add a watermark. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to the material you use and publish — including music, footage and images from other people.

3. Content included in the app

Fonts, stickers, music, sound effects, templates and other assets included in Cutverse may be used in videos you create with the app. You may not extract them to redistribute or sell them on their own.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cutverse to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, harasses or deceives people, or impersonates someone without their consent — including misleading deepfakes. You also agree not to reverse engineer, resell or tamper with the app or its ads, except where the law allows it.

5. Ads

Cutverse is supported by ads served by third parties such as Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled.

6. AI features

Captions, translation and other AI features are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Review the results before you publish them.

7. No warranty

Cutverse is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that projects can never be lost. Keep your own copies of important footage and exports.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cutverse is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or content arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and let you know in the app. You can stop using Cutverse at any time by uninstalling it.
